Autodesk Customer Story
I received the following link in an email from one of the Associates here in our firm, Cathedral Hill Project. This is a new hospital facility in San Francisco. Based upon the amount of work and buzz BIM has generated over the past few years I have to say that I really think the Healthcare Sector of our industry is really pushing the envelope. Hospitals are some of the most complex projects from a systems standpoint and I feel that they really understand the benefit of BIM. Here at SKW we are preparing for the ground breaking ceremony for Freemont Rideout Hospital. We've been working on this project for 4 years now and it's nice to finally see progress on the job site. Our next big challenge will be the Veterans Administration Hospital in Reno, NV. We'll be joint ventured on this project with Page Sutherland Page in Dallas, TX. I look forward to the opportunity to share and learn from my counter-parts over there. The BIM guidelines for the V.A. are over 1000 pages. I'm curious to see how much "wiggle" room the V.A. will allow.
