Monica Colosi-Mauldin named Director of Equipment Planning & Management

May 1, 2017, Sacramento, CA — Stafford King Wiese Architects (SKW), an architecture and planning firm, is excited to announce Monica Colosi-Mauldin as the Director of Equipment Planning & Management.

Ms. Colosi-Mauldin has been an integral member of the SKW Healthcare Studio since 2014, when she joined the team to assist with the new nurse tower and Emergency Department expansion project at Rideout Regional Medical Center in Marysville, CA.  Monica served as both the project’s medical equipment manager as well as a member of the construction administration team, coordinating daily with contractors, equipment vendors and engineers to assure installations met code and the project schedule.

Monica’s previous experience included managing the installation of over $50 million in equipment for UC Davis Medical Center, ultimately saving the University considerable funds and avoiding costly delays. Her method of quality assurance provides clear oversight of the project team, precise documentation for consultants and vendors, and overall protection for the client—all of which lead to projects that exceed goals for schedule, budget, and quality.

Monica is a dedicated project leader with over 20 years of proven expertise and commitment to the design and construction process. Her hands-on experience in project management and coordination, scheduling, and construction management enables her to lead complex projects to successful project completion.

She currently serves clients such as Stanford Health Care, Sutter Health, Rideout Health, Kaiser Permanente and UC Davis Health.
