Greetings Friends!
I recently gave a presentation with our client at the Planetree Conference in Chicago in October. Thank you to those of you that were able to attend my session. There were a lot of great sessions to choose from. If you were not able to attend or you were in another session, the presentation shared the patient-centered design thinking and research behind our design of the northern California Courage House campus. Courage House provides an innovative psychiatric trauma recovery program for girls rescued from sex trafficking.

I’ve gotten great personal satisfaction from applying my expertise in patient-centered design for medical facilities to the design of behavioral health facilities. I believe Planetree principals are particularly applicable to behavioral health projects and the expansion of research in this field coupled with the increasing demand makes my presentation woth attending and particularly timely.
