The survey includes checking physical dimensions, recording the force required to open doors, evaluation of hardware compliance, timing of door openers and closers, inspection of signage and confirmation of Braille conformance. Photographs will be taken of all non-compliant construction and will be assigned identification numbers which are keyed to the final report.
Upon completion of the survey, the data is organized and entered into a spreadsheet and a final report is prepared with cross-references to the photographs of representative non-compliant construction. The report will conclude with recommendations for corrective action.
